Party of Six

Four little ones? Hats off to this beautiful momma, who handles it with such grace! Welcome, baby Bella!

Sweet cheeks

Seriously? How is this for adorable? Baby deliciousness, nom nom nom.

Busy much?

So people assume then they aren’t hearing much from a photographer’s blog, things must be SLOW. Not many clients, not much going on. Um…OPPOSITE! When the flood gates open, and you have barely enough hours in the day to see straight, the blog is the first thing to go! Sorry, my friends, but I let it happen to me. And so, between the summer rush and the fall rush I have about 10 days, and I will make every attempt to use that time to get some of my summer sessions onto the blog. The world needs to see the cuteness!

A great experiment!

This poor, poor Mom and Dad! They came to me last week for a newborn session and I was fresh off the plane from a trip to Spain. When I arrived at the studio that morning, I found that my A/C had kicked the bucket. And it was HOT. Now many peers of mine who are photographers SWEAR by keeping their studios at 90+ degrees for newborn sessions…the theory being that if baby is warm and cozy, even naked, they will sleep. I have never had the nerve to actually subject my clients to those kinds of temperatures and have not ever been able to test it out. Until this session! We didn’t have a choice but to put up with super high temperatures. And either she was the most laid back baby I have ever photographed, or there is something to this temperature thing…she slept the WHOLE time…a total gem!

Little Blondies

This family just welcomed baby #4. FOUR! I sooo admire them and the amount of patience they must have been blessed with to be able to handle being a family of six so gracefully.  There were points in the session where none of the kids wanted to be  part of it, and Mom and Dad didn’t stress, didn’t yell, they just laughed and took it in stride. LOVE those kinds of families…
